DEPARTMENT PROFILE

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has started in 2004 with 60 number of students intake. By 2006 our department has increased its intake as 120.We have started our P.G course in computer science and engineering in 2010 with the intake of 18 students. Our has excellent and dedicated faculty members whose qualifications and achievements speak volumes about their caliber and expertise. Upgradation of faculty is done through enhancement of their academic qualification, interaction with industry, through seminars etc.

  • Industrial visits to various renowned companies to pave way for the students to get exposed to varied atmosphere.

  • Mini projects and In-plant trainings to impart practical knowledge to the students.

  • As instructed by AICTE our final year and pre final year students were made to attend internship training program through reputed companies.

  • Inter-Collegiate programmes, a platform for the students to equip their knowledge in all fields, are conducted.

  • Teaching aids like OHP's & LCD Projectors and modern E-learning softwares are used with the view to enhance the Teaching-Learning process.

  • The Department has a hi-tech learning environment with adequate number of well-furnished and well-equipped research laboratories for C/ C++ Programming, Java Programming, Python programming, Web application development, Database Management Systems,...

The Placement and career cell Department strives hard to develop partnerships with International organizations, associations and federations. The Placement wing provides you the opportunity to get insight into career potential. Many students from ECE have been placed in many MNC’s like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, L&T, Nokia, TESCO, Microsoft, Solartis Technology, Premier Evolvis , Oracle etc. so far.

With an ardent intention to provide exposure and to upgrade the Technical knowledge of the students, VCCE ECE Department has organized department activities like Symposiums, National & International Seminars, paper presentations and workshops for every year.
