The impact of computer engineering on daily life is extensive. The age of computing has arrived. The goal of the course is to advance, develop, and enhance the principles of computer science and engineering in order to strengthen the social fabric's intellectual foundation. The advancement of technology and its acknowledgement by excellence have created exciting growth opportunities for the fields of computer science and engineering.

In the year 2010, Vins Chritian College of Engineering started the M.E. Computer Science and Engineering programme. The programme is created to continually remain on the cutting edge of this quickly evolving industry. We train graduates in computing who are passionate about solving problems, who contribute to new breakthroughs in computing, and who are effective and adaptable at work. We work together with significant industrial partners to support the academic and scientific goals of our students. The goal of the CSE Department is to serve as a significant hub of resources for the development of computing and its applications. Students can choose from a variety of hard paths to finish their coursework at SMCET and earn a degree in a particular field. CSE has a thriving student body and an outstanding faculty.

Our goal is to shape the student into an authority in information security. This training might be useful for both enterprise experts and working people in related fields who have little to no experience of cyber security. Data Science, Quantum Computing, the Internet of Things, robotics, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, cloud computing, mobile communications, big data, analytics, etc. are all impacted by the focus on cyber security.In St. Michael College of Engineering and Technology, M.E. Computer Science and Engineering were formed. The programme is created to continually remain on the cutting edge of this quickly evolving industry.
